Dwalen door geluid

Dwalen door geluid (Wandering through sound) explores the navigational agency of environmental sounds in an area of former bog exploitation and river alteration (Westerwoldsche Aa). Participants were asked to determine a route solely on the basis of the sounds they hear. After each walking session the observed sounds and the resulting routes were drawn onto a collective sound map. The sound walk took place in three different seasons with different groups of people. All routes have been collected in a publication.
